What is your local delivery zone?
Monday/Tuesday – Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville
Thursday/Friday – Vaughan, Richmond Hill & Markham
How long will it take to get my order?
If your order is being delivered in our local delivery zone, it will take 24 hours to receive after your order has been processed.
Is curbside pickup available?
Yes! Curbside pickup will be ready 12-24 hours after your order has been processed. You will receive email instructions on where to pick up your order in Brampton or Caledon.
Which products do you offer for curbside pickup?
Bhuna Masala kit, Makhan Masala Kit, Tandoori Marinade kit and Chai Masala are available for pickup.
Why don't you delivery to my area/other areas in GTA?
We are gradually expanding our delivery coverage. Drop us a line on where you live and we may open up a delivery slot in the future.
What products do you ship?
Currently our Masala Chai is eligible for shipping within Canada. If you would like us to ship it to another country, however, please email info@chillypaste.ca with your full shipping address. All our products ship out of Brampton, Ontario. Orders take one to two business days to be processed. If your order is shipped by mail, it will take seven to 10 days to receive after it has been processed.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free after a $75 purchase (before taxes). Please check our shipping calculator for orders less than $75.
Are your products available in my local grocery store?
At this time, we are not in any retailers. Please check back with us or subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
Products
Where are your products made?
Our products are made with love and handled with care in clean and sanitized commercial facilities in the Region of Peel, Ontario. To ensure health protection, our employees are certified with handling food safely, including HACCP. We make our products in small batches so that you receive the freshest product around!
Are your products organic?
We source and use local fresh ingredients including organic ingredients, where economically possible. We use a combination of domestic and imported ingredients.
What is the difference between your Bhuna Masala kit and Makhan Masala kit?
Bhuna Masala is a ready-to-cook meal base paste. Just a few tablespoons can be used to start many delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian curry dishes. Makhan Masala is a ready-to-heat sauce to which you can add your favourite vegetarian and (cooked) non-vegetarian items. Our meal kits allow you to customize your meal with your favourite ingredients.
Can your products be frozen?
Yes, paste, sauce and marinade products (except Masala Chai and the dry spice powder blends) may be frozen up to three months.
Are your chai lattes the same as the ones at my local café or coffee shop?
Chai lattes at your local café or coffee shop are prepared with a sweetened concentrated syrup or instant, powdered version of chai. They can contain artificial flavours and preservatives. Our chai is natural and authentic. Once you taste our chai, you may never go back to café/coffee shop purchases!
Do your products contain preservatives, artificial colours and flavours?
Our preservation method is refrigeration. We do not add preservatives and therefore the product must be used by the due date. We do not add artificial colours and flavours in our products, with the exception of our tandoori marinade which has small amounts of red and yellow food colouring and MSG.
