Bhuna Masala Paste
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and stir in 2 tablespoons of Bhuna Masala paste. Add 500 g (about 1 lb) of your favourite protein, pre-cooked pulses or legumes, or vegetables and combine.
Add salt and enough water to make the gravy as thick or thin as you want. Stir and simmer for 15 to 25 minutes or until cooked. Turn off the heat.
Sprinkle desired amount of garam masala.
Optional garnishes: chopped coriander or mint, fresh or fried sliced onions, ginger matchsticks, lemon or lime wedges, pomegranate arils.
